Trust God for great things;
with your five loaves and two fishes,
He will show you a way to feed thousands. ~Horace Bushnell~
Just stepped outside and caught all this action on camera. If you would have told me that having eight children would be so amazing when we first got married, I most likely wouldn’t have believed you. How times have changed! Making Jim Lahey’s Stecca bread. Dough is rising for tomorrow lunch. We have these delicious green olives and ol’ faithful garlic that I’m going to stuff in the crust. Hope it works. Will report back. And, baking dozens of chocolate chip cookies for the freezer. The weather is so mild. Thought about global warming, until Jim’s Mom reported that Florida has been icy cold. Jim and a portion of our family walked to the Baptist church on Main street this morning. Abigail returned to the BGH an hour and a half later exclaiming that the time was “Awesome!” She said that she whispered to an older lady that our family has five people still at home. Abigail is so excited that we have ten in our family that she’d announce it from the top of a mountain. Venison chili is smelling ready. Thank you Vali and Joe for sharing with us your buck. Oh, we are so grateful for friends and family. Love to all!
